Is organising a fundraiser for the Heart Foundation, by attempting the worlds biggest beep test, "Beat the Beep"

"Heart disease and mental health are two of the major health issues facing Australians today. Regular exercise is not only beneficial for reducing the risk of heart disease, but has shown to improve feelings of well beings and is a great way of bringing people together in a healthy environment.
Beat the Beep is a Guinness world record attempt to have the most people simultaneously undertaking the Beep test. The event aims to draw in Canberrans from all corners of the community.
The Goal is to raise awareness of the benefit of physical activity in prevention and treatment of heart disease and improvement of mental health. All while being a part of a world record attempt and raising much needed funds for the nominated charities.
This event aims to engage many different community groups within Canberra and the surrounding region, including families, sporting groups, community organisations and people young and old"

Tentative date is May 4th - More details on when and where will follow soon.

NCGA Uniform Review

The Committee has taken all the feedback into account for the two designs on offer. It is a very close call with most opting for one or the other being happy with either...tough call. I will ask the Committee to decide which pattern we go with and start ordering ASAP. The feedback came from either athletes and parents who viewed and felt materials of the prototype, or a number of emails from officials and athletes.
